Vernier Canada Partners With College Chemistry Canada

College Chemistry Canada (C3) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the teaching of chemistry, primarily at the college and university level.

Both Vernier Canada and C3 are dedicated to enhancing the quality and reach of chemistry education in Canada. By combining our resources and expertise, we can create a synergistic relationship that benefits educators, students, and the broader scientific community.

The majority of chemistry departments at post-secondary institutions across Canada use Vernier lab equipment. Our products are known for their quality, reliability, and contribution to effective science education.

I have been using Vernier sensors and interfaces for over 20 years. The equipment is robust and easy to use. Having access to this equipment has transformed the kinds of investigations available to the students. More recently, our chemistry department has moved to exclusively using the LabQuest interfaces, which has obviated any need for computer set-up.



Annual Conference

Dedicated to providing professional development opportunities for teachers of chemistry, C3 has sponsored an annual conference each year since 1972. These conferences alternate between east and west and have been hosted by various colleges and universities accross Canada.

The 51st C3 conference will be hosted by Simon Fraser Univeristy in Burnaby, BC on May 23-25, 2025. Vernier Canada will be attending the conference and we hope to see you there!
